Welcome to the Museum of Contemporary Art Nashville
Our goal is to create a world-renowned, trailblazing contemporary art museum in Nashville, TN, by 2030, that showcases innovative and provocative works of art from the 1950s to the present, featuring both emerging and established artists—local and beyond.
Through this, we aim to inspire and enrich visitors from all over the globe, while fostering a vibrant community of artists and art lovers, further establishing Nashville as a globally recognized hub for contemporary art.
MOCAN is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) recognized by the IRS. Our federal tax identification number is 93-2025869.
